Why is it that everything interesting happens AFTER I’ve been through it? Just read this headline on the ‘Message of the Day’ thingything that pops up whenever I switch on my comp: “New NUS Double Degree, Concurrent Degree and Double Major Programmes“.

NUS is now offering double degrees where you can get 2 degrees (with hons) within 5 years in majors within or between faculties. You just have to take 50 mods (200 credits) as compared to the 40 mods an arts honours student has to take to get her ONE degree. Just 10 modules more leh plus some mods can be double counted.

Bah.

It gets better. You can now also do your Bachelors and Masters concurrently resulting in both degrees in 4 1/2 or 5 years. Once again the two degrees can be from within or between faculties and modules can be double counted towards both degrees.

WTF….
Double major thingy not very impt (at least to me) so just a perfunctionary BAH for that.

This sucks like a monkey’s pie hole. Like banana pie shitface. Like rancid rose petals after a valentine’s day proposal gone wrong. I want that!! I want to do a degree in biz while doing my current CNM one. I WANT!! I should have been born 4 years later…

On top of all that, I’m hungry and the canteen is closed. bah, BAH I say.

So many career possibilities but which one is the right one for me? I’m not really scared of not being able to get a job, I mean even a job as an admin assistant or something is fine for starters. The fear is not being able to get a job I like, that I enjoy (mildly).

Did some trawling around my friends blogs and unearthed this career personality test thing. Of course this thing is shit la. Ask 18 questions and the pre-programmed computer can tell you your life’s destiny? Right… but it sounds like an accurate assessment of me, with the list of suitable jobs kind of similar to the list of possibly enjoyable jobs which I keep in my brain.

I’ve been cursed at recently by several people for being butt lazy about blogging. Sooo…. I decided to give myself more work (and incentive to blog) by revamping EVERYTHING. Oooo so intelligent right vonnie girl, as if you don’t have enough work to do, you take on this huge new incredibly useless project.

Have decided to choose wordpress cuz I recently used the free online hosted version for both my choir blog and this blog i have to set up for a module, and found it damn easy to use la. Much better than nucleus. It’s intuitive in most aspects and the interface is like HOW pretty. Pretty gets to me everytime. So here’s hoping that I will get down to prettifying this blog and actually do some of this blogging which this domain is supposed to generate. No more cursing at me pple, my eyes can’t take anymore twitching.
